
Graphic Designer
(Middleweight or Junior)

The Role
We’re looking for a talented junior or middleweight graphic designer to join our growing team. You should have a highly creative portfolio and a strong passion for both print and digital design. A talent for building original, cohesive brands is essential, and illustration skills are highly desirable.
As part of our small, dynamic team, you’ll work on a diverse range of projects, from full rebrands to marketing campaigns and signage rollouts. No matter the project, we value attention to detail and creativity in everything we do. You should be self-motivated, organised, and confident working directly with clients.

Key Responsibilities
- Interpret and respond to client briefs, turning them into original and effective design solutions.
- Take ownership of assigned projects, ensuring high-quality work is delivered on time.
- Communicate and present designs clearly to internal teams, clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
- Work across both print and digital outputs, ensuring consistency and high standards.
- Contribute to proposals, costings, and other project management tasks.
- Support and lead design activities such as brand workshops and discovery sessions.
- Be proactive in driving innovation and ensuring the latest design trends and technologies are implemented.
- Support Stride’s internal marketing efforts.
- Onboard and support new staff or apprentices, fostering a learning environment.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a design agency setting.
- Strong skills in design software (Adobe Creative Suite, etc.).
- Solid understanding of both print and digital design practices.
- A collaborative mindset and ability to work directly with clients.
- Ability to estimate and track project timelines efficiently.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- A proactive attitude toward personal and team growth.
Where You Will Work
Location: Chester City Centre
Hybrid: Minimum 3 days in the studio
